Piedmont University’s Camerata will bring an afternoon of chamber music to the Piedmont University Chapel on Sunday, Aug. 30.
The concert, titled Camerata, begins at 3 p.m. and features violinists Heather Baird-Strachan and Rachael Fischer, violist Scott Garrett, cellist Ismail Akbar and pianist Jeri-Mae G. Astolfi.
The ensemble will perform works by Tommaso Giordani, Germaine Tailleferre and Robert Schumann.
Baird-Strachan, a violinist, serves as Piedmont University’s artist-in-residence, adjunct strings faculty member and director of the Piedmont University String Orchestra.
Admission is free, and donations will be accepted at the door.
