Tallulah Falls extended its winning streak to five matches Tuesday evening with a tri-match sweep at Lakeview.
The Lady Indians (9-8) beat Lakeview 25-13, 25-16 for a key region win before defeating Clarke Central 25-17, 25-10.
Tallulah Falls played through the loss of Stella Bowman to injury.
“We lost Stella Bowman, but Azul Felder Terrados did a great job filling in with great effort and energy,” coach Matt Heyl said.
Corinne Swinton and Beatriz Araujo were strong offensively, while Shelby Whisnant and Emma Whisnant had multiple long serving runs. Tori Crotta and Finlee Ridlehoover ran the offense with precision sets.
“We played solid with only brief moments of letting off the gas,” Heyl said.
The Lady Indians, who have played 10 matches in nine days, are scheduled to host Loganville Christian on Thursday, Aug. 27.
