Habersham News Launches Free Weekly Email Newsletter

Habersham News is making it easier than ever for readers to stay informed about what’s happening across Habersham County.

Beginning this month, readers can subscribe to the new Habersham News email newsletter and receive a free weekly roundup of the most important local stories delivered directly to their inbox.

The newsletter will feature local government coverage, community events, business news, school and sports updates, public safety information, and stories highlighting the people and places that make Habersham County unique.

Since launching in October 2025, Habersham News has focused exclusively on local journalism, covering the issues that matter most to residents of Habersham County. The new newsletter is designed to help readers keep up with local news without having to search social media or visit multiple websites throughout the week.

“One of the most common requests I’ve received from readers is a simple way to stay informed about everything happening across the county,” said Peter Madruga, publisher of Habersham News. “The newsletter will bring together the week’s most important stories and deliver them directly to readers in one convenient email.”

The newsletter is free to subscribe to and will be delivered once each week. Subscribers may also occasionally receive special email updates regarding major breaking news or significant community developments.
