Clarkesville Council to Hold Called Work Session April 7

The Clarkesville City Council will hold a called work session on Tuesday, April 7, at 5:00 p.m. at Clarkesville City Hall.

The upcoming session comes as council members look to formalize a change in their meeting schedule. At a previous work session, council agreed to begin holding work sessions the week prior to regularly scheduled council meetings moving forward.

That proposed schedule change is expected to be voted on at an upcoming council meeting.

An official agenda for the April 7 work session has not yet been released. City officials indicated it will be shared once it is finalized.

Work sessions typically allow council members to discuss upcoming items, review proposals, and prepare for decisions that may be taken at future meetings. No formal votes are usually taken during work sessions.

Habersham News will provide updates once the agenda becomes available and will continue to follow any actions related to the proposed meeting schedule.
